Bengal Engineering College, now, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious engineering institutions. Established in 1856, it has played a pioneering role in engineering education in India, producing generations of engineers, technologists, and leaders. We the Class of 1975 honor our Alma Mater’s rich legacy with pride and nostalgia.
