We the Class of 1975 honor our Alma Mater’s rich legacy with pride and nostalgia.

Bakultala Renovation & Smart Board Installation Completed
Offical Inaugation with Fanfare on Sunday May 16, 2026
1975 Alumni Batch of B.E. College, Shibpur (Presently IIEST, Shibpur) celebrated its Midterm Get Together in a befitting manner on 16th May 2026. The primary focus of this occasion was to organise ceremonially investiture of renovated and adorned “Bakultala”, a Meeting Place of young Minds of the institute, lovingly funded by 1975 Alumni Batch of B.E. College, Shibpur.
Hon’ble Director, IIEST,Shibpur formally opened the renovated adorned ” Bakultala” premises. While gratefully recognising the exemplary commitment and meaningful contribution of 1975 Alumni Batch of B.E. College, Shibpur, he tinted the glimpses of developments of institute made in recent times and also plan for further initiation.
There was a splendid assemblage of 1975 Alumni Batch of B.E. College, Shibpur in this unique meeting which were addressed by President & Secretary of BECAA75, Dean (AA&IR), Dean (P&D) and Associate Dean (P&D).
Co-ordinator, BECAA75 synchronised the entire event and on behalf of BECAA75 expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Hon’ble Director , Deans and their team to make the mission a reality.

Golden Anniversary of Graduation
BECAA75’s Golden Anniversary celebration of graduation on August 17, 2025 were a vibrant and nostalgic affair, filled with laughter, memories, and camaraderie. The day began with a hearty breakfast, setting the tone for the festivities. Cultural programs showcased timeless talents, rekindling the spirit of youth, followed by a grand feast-style lunch that brought everyone together over cherished flavors.
The fun continued with a lively movie trivia session, sparking friendly competition and waves of nostalgia. Of course, no reunion was complete without endless “adda” — animated conversations that stretched long into the evening, echoing the warmth of five decades of friendship and remembering fondly those we lost. The day concluded with a group photo session and a promise to meet again!
