50 Golden Years of Friendship Celebrations
August 16, 2020 marked the 50th anniversary of that memorable Sunday when we began our five-year journey at the campus of Bengal Engineering College (now IIEST – Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology).
Stepping into the campus, we were nervous—leaving behind the comforts of home to embrace the unknown—yet filled with anticipation and hope. Five decades later, what remains is not only our memories but a friendship that has become the gift of a lifetime.
Even as the world was reeling under the impact of COVID-19, we did not let it dampen our spirit of celebration. Instead, we came together virtually—through a video conference, using a technology that was only just finding its way into the lives of the masses.
